11. Purchases

 When you make a purchase and confirm a transaction on this Site, you agree to be bound by, and pay for, that purchase or transaction. Your total price may include taxes, fees, and shipping costs, which you are solely responsible for paying. All sales are final. If you order an item that becomes unavailable before it can be provided to you, you agree that the only remedy is to receive a refund of the price you paid. In creating the Content, including without limitation any rankings, PianoTalent, Inc. relies on third-party sources that PianoTalent, Inc. has not vetted. PianoTalent, Inc. does not endorse or warranty any educational or product, service, opinion, or other information that may be referenced on or through the website.

The web site is intended for individuals at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of 13 you are prohibited from using the Service. This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which the School collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “Student”) of the School. This Privacy Policy applies to the School and all Courses offered by the School.

We may collect personal identification information from Students in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Students enroll in the School or a Course within the School, subscribe to a newsletter, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources we make available in our School. Students may visit the School anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Students only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Students can refuse to supply personal identification information but doing so may prevent them from engaging in certain School related activities.

The School may collect and use Students’ personal identification information for the following purposes:

Children’s Online Privacy Policy 

Our Site is not directed to persons under 13. If you become aware that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us personal information, we take steps to remove such information and terminate the child’s account.

Media Consent Policy  

By using our Services, Student (and his/her parent if under 18) consents and authorizes Piano Talent, Inc., including this School to capture, use, reproduce, and distribute images, video, and audio recordings of Student, including his/her musical performance or quoted statements, for promotional and educational purposes. Student agrees that use of such images and recordings, without any compensation to Student, and may personally identify Student by name unless Student notifies Piano Talent, Inc. otherwise in writing. Student agrees to waive and release any and all claims related to the use of these images and recordings. Piano Talent, Inc. owns the sole copyright to the images and recordings taken by Piano Talent, Inc. If you wish an exemption to this media policy for you and/or your child, you must contact Piano Talent, Inc. office in writing.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

The School has the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. We encourage Students to frequently check this page for any changes. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

Your acceptance of these terms

By enrolling in the School, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not enroll in the School. Your continued enrollment in the School following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
